BRIEF BIO-DATA

* Born at Birur of Chikmagalur district to Sri Kavi Suresh and Smt.Renuka Suresh on 28.10.1988. Belongs to the famous Keladi Kavi Family of great writers, artists, musicians and research scholars.

* Started Violin education at the age of 8. Has learnt under Vidwans Sri MN Sathyanarayana, Bangalore; Sri TS Krishna Murthy, Bangalore;  Dr.K.Varadarangan, Bangalore.

* Violin Junior : 96%; Violin Senior: 3rd Rank to the State; Violin Vidwat Final : 1st Rank

* State level BALA PRATHIBHE - I Place – 2002; KISHORA PRATHIBHE - II Place – 2005; YUVA PRATHIBHE - I Place - 2006.

* Awarded Scholarship by the Karnataka Sangeetha & Nrithya Academy - 2006-07.

* RAJIV GANDHI HEALTH UNIVERSITY - Inter-Collegiate Cultural Competitions – 2007 - I PLACE in the Violin competition.

* 'B' GRADE Artist of the All India Radio.

* Important performances include: Solo, Duet(along with guru Vid.T.S.Krishnamurthy) and accompaniments at Navarathri Utsav at Sringeri; Udyanavanadalli Udaya Raga,Lalbagh,B’lore; State Level Music Conference at Shimoga-2006; Mysore Dasara (2004 and 2006); Ananya "Arohana" Vedike - Malleswaram, Bangalore; ISKCON, Bangalore; Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, Bangalore; Chowdaiah Memorial Hall, Bangalore; TV programmes in Udaya and Chandana channels; Ravindra Kalakshetra (Yuva Chetana Programme-2007); Ganasudha Sangeeta Sabha, Bhadravathi, Sheshadripuram Rama Seva Mandali;Nadaranjani Sangeeta Sabha, B’lore; Durga Seva Samithi,Kadur; Devagiri Venkateshwara temple, B’lore;Ganeshotsav, hassan; Udupi Krishna mutt ;A.I.R broadcasts etc.; over 100-150 programmes to his credit so far.

* A few important Artistes accompanied include Vidwans & Vidushis: Vijayalakshmi Kalyanasundaram, Trichy Ganeshan(Grandson of Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavathar), Bombay Lakshmi Rajagopalan, Shringeri.H.S.Nagaraj, Smt.M.S.Vidya, Srikantham Nagendra Shastry, Balasubramanya Sharma, Bellary Raghavendra, R.K.Padmanabha, Mysore, G.Arun Kumar, Prasanna(mandolin), R.S.Nandakumar, N.R.Prashanth, Vamshidhar(flute) and many others.

* Completed B.A.M.S. at Bapuji Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Shimoga with a distinction, securing the 1st rank in the college and 7th rank in the university(Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore)

2] Deepak BSR, who is studying Ayurvedic medicine at Shimoga, has learnt violin under T S Krishna Murthy and is continuing higher studying with Dr K Varada Rangan. Some attractive phraseology lent a dignified presence to Deepak's 'Jnanamo Sagarada' on Violin solo. The "Sarasa Samadane" was a quickie and the Swara enriched the impact of the composition "Gajavadana Beduve."
